UNDERWRITING and CLAIM TRANSACTIONS
Transactions and routine processes utilize iCatalyst’s
internal workflow architecture. Quotes and indications,
policy issuance, endorsements, new claims and so forth
all are rules and workflow based and easily modified.
Renewals can be automatically generated and issued,
or flagged for underwriting review. All premium-bearing
transactions generate invoices and interface
with the company’s general ledger system.
The system can generate any number of indications
and quotes, and maintains a history of expired quotes
so they may be reviewed, but not altered, at any time.
The claims functionality manages historical changes
to reserves and expenses, including generating payments
which flow through the general ledger system.
Multiple insured defendants can be linked, and all records
from reporting to final disposition are stored in an easily
retrievable folder, or ‘node’ system.
